Folded Froebel origami squares made from a 1930's Geographia map of North East on canvas. The 40 individual modules have undergone several transformations and rotations, but remain in the correct overall grid location, creating a representative interpretation of the original map. Presented in a handmade hardwood frame from obeche (African maple), stained and waxed, with UV resistant acrylic. Size 53cm x 44cm.
