How We Pack Your Artwork
Every Pixies & Sprites piece is individually handcrafted and many incorporate original papers that may be difficult or impossible to replace if damaged. We therefore take great care when packaging artwork for transit. Framed pieces are carefully protected using archival-safe materials, corner protection and robust outer packaging appropriate to the size and nature of the piece. If your artwork arrives damaged, please retain all packaging, take photographs of both the packaging and the artwork, and contact us as soon as possible. We will assess the situation promptly and work with you to find a fair solution.
Dispatch Times
Because many of our pieces are handmade, dispatch times vary depending on the type of artwork purchased.
One-Off Artwork
Where a piece is listed as a unique one-off artwork, it will normally be dispatched within 4–5 working days of payment being received.
Made-to-Order Artwork
Many of our designs are individually handcrafted following an order using original papers and handmade framing techniques. These pieces typically require approximately 5–10 working days before dispatch, although completion times may vary depending upon materials, workload and the nature of the piece.
Commissioned Artwork
Commission work is individually scheduled and completion times will be agreed with the customer before work begins.
UK Delivery
Most UK deliveries are sent using tracked services provided by Royal Mail or a suitable courier. Typical delivery times after dispatch are: • Standard Delivery: approximately 2–5 working days • Express Delivery (where available): approximately 1–2 working days Delivery estimates are provided as guidance only and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control.
International Delivery
We are happy to ship to many international destinations. Typical delivery times after dispatch are: • Europe: approximately 7–14 working days • Rest of World: approximately 10–21 working days International delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by customs processing and local postal services. Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import charges or other fees imposed by their country.
A Note About Handmade Work
Pixies & Sprites creates original artwork from original papers. Some pieces are unique one-off artworks. Others are individually handcrafted following an order. Where a product listing identifies photographs as representative examples, the artwork supplied may differ from the images shown whilst remaining faithful to the design, style and description. No two pieces are ever identical, and those natural variations form part of the originality and character of the finished artwork.
Tracking Your Order
Once your artwork has been dispatched, we will send a confirmation email containing tracking details where available. If you have not received a dispatch confirmation within the expected timescale, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us at [email protected].
Delivery Address
Please check your delivery address carefully when placing your order. Unfortunately, once an order has been dispatched, we are usually unable to change the delivery address. If an order is returned to us because the address provided was incorrect or incomplete, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional postage charges may apply.
