A vintage dissected Automobile Association Map 'London Northwards', 1933 on canvas. This dissected map has been reconstructed to reform a full panel. Each individual panel has been cut, trimmed and mounted on a solid backboard. Presented in a handmade frame from obeche (African maple), blackened and charred with heat using the Japanese Yakisugi technique to produce a rich deep black colour highlighting the natural wood grain, then waxed. Behind UV resistant acrylic. 940mm x 660mm. One in stock.
