Beano, Dandy & other Comics
We work extensively with Beano comics (and other classic British titles like the Dandy and Beezer), sourced across several different decades — from the 1980s and 1990s through to the 2000s, as single issues or complete annuals. These pieces range widely in size and format: smaller A4 tiles made from a couple of issues, larger box-framed pieces built from ten or more comics, and specialist shapes like hexagons and multi-module tiles made from full annuals. Decades of back issues have ended up stored in attics and boxes across the UK, which is where much of our material comes from — so stock varies by era, format and condition, and exact colours, characters and panel selection will differ between pieces. This collection celebrates classic British adventure and science-fiction serials rather than the superhero tradition — space pilots, secret missions and cult favourites like Thunderbirds, Stingray, Captain Scarlet and Doctor Who, alongside other adventure annuals we source over time. Every piece uses a genuine vintage comic or annual, never a reprint, so exact artwork and panels vary between pieces depending on what has been sourced.

UK and US Superhero Comics
Our superhero comic pieces are made from genuine vintage comics — never reprints or reproductions — featuring characters from across the superhero genre, including Marvel titles starring Iron Man and the Punisher, and DC icons like Batman and Superman. Many of these characters were published in both American and British print editions over the decades, and our source material reflects that range. Because each piece is folded from a real, limited-run comic, exact panels, colours and character artwork vary between pieces, and stock is entirely dependent on what we are able to source. Our superhero comic pieces are made entirely from genuine vintage issues, spanning the 1970s through to the 2000s.

This collection uses genuine vintage European comic books and annuals — titles like Tintin and Asterix — rather than reprints or reproductions. Because these series have been published in dozens of languages over the decades, we are often able to source or commission pieces using a specific language edition, from the original French through to Dutch, German, or other translations, making it possible to create something tied to a particular country or personal connection. As with all our comic pieces, exact panels and artwork vary depending on what has been sourced.
